Paths To Wholeness (PTW) is a nonprofit transitional home in Orangeburg, South Carolina, serving justice-involved women throughout the Midlands since 2022. Through supportive housing, life-skills development, and community partnerships, PTW helps women successfully reintegrate into society, achieving an 89% reduction in recidivism among program participants.

Position Summary

The House Manager oversees the daily operations of the transitional home and supportive services program. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this position ensures a safe, structured, and supportive environment while helping residents achieve stability, self-sufficiency, and successful community reintegration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the transitional home and resident activities.

  • Support residents through case coordination, life-skills development, and referrals to community resources.

  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and accountable living environment.

  • Monitor program outcomes and maintain required records and reports.

  • Assist with budget management, grant compliance, and fundraising activities.

  • Build and maintain partnerships with community agencies, employers, service providers, and faith-based organizations.

  • Represent PTW at community meetings and events as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience and/or military service considered.

  • Experience in social services, human services, behavioral health, housing programs, or related fields.

  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working with justice-involved individuals, women’s services, or transitional housing programs

  • preferred.

  • Grant management, fundraising, or nonprofit experience is a plus.

Work Environment

  • Combination of office, residential program, and community-based work.

  • Occasional evening and weekend hours are required with travel within the state of SC.

Compensation

  • Salary $31,200 annually, full-time grant-funded position.
