Organization Summary

Paths To Wholeness (PTW) is a nonprofit transitional home located in Orangeburg, South Carolina, serving justice-involved women throughout the Midlands since 2022. PTW provides supportive housing and evidence-based services that empower women as they rebuild their lives and successfully reintegrate into the community. Through dedicated staff and strong community partnerships, PTW has achieved an 89% reduction in recidivism among program participants.

Position Summary

The Housing Manager (HM) is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and day-to-day operations of Paths to Wholeness, and works in partnership with the CEO to execute the organization’s strategic priorities. The HM ensures that PTW fulfills its mission to support justice-involved women through transitional housing, life skills development, and holistic support services that promote self- sufficiency and successful reintegration.

Key Responsibilities


1. Leadership & Strategic Direction

  • Oversee all PTW programs, including transitional housing and supportive services

  • Provide visionary leadership aligned with PTW’s mission and long-term goals

  • Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement strategic plans

  • Serve as the secondary spokesperson and ambassador for PTW in the community

  • Foster a culture of empowerment, accountability, and compassion

 

2. Program Oversight & Development

  • Ensure programs are effective, mission-driven, and responsive to client needs

  • Assist in developing new initiatives that enhance client outcomes (e.g., workforce readiness,

    wellness, and life skills training)

  • Monitor and evaluate program performance and impact

 

3. Financial Management & Fund Development

  • Assist in developing and managing the organization’s annual budget

  • Ensure sound financial practices and compliance with all funding requirements

  • Support fundraising efforts, including grant writing, donor engagement, and program-related fundraising activities.

  • Build relationships with funders, foundations, churches, corporate partners, etc.

 

4. Community Engagement & Partnerships

  • Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations, government agencies, and faith-based institutions

  • Represent PTW at community events, coalitions, and public forums as needed

  • Advocate for policies and resources that support justice-involved women

5. Compliance & Administration

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations

  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation

  • Work with the CEO to ensure strong governance practices

  • Oversee risk management, including safety and liability protocols

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree desired and/or military service

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

  • Experience working with justice-involved individuals, women’s services, or transitional housing

  • programs is desired

  • Fundraising, grant writing, and financial management a plus

Work Environment

  • Combination of office, residential program setting, and community engagement

  • Occasional evenings and weekends required for events and program support

Compensation

  •  Salary 12-Month, full-time, travel reimbursement, and rewarding and impactful work.
